Andronicus of Rhodes
Andronicus of Rhodes ((ギリシア語:Ἀνδρόνικος ο Ρόδιος), ''Andrónikos o Rhódios''; (ラテン語:Andronicus Rhodius);  BC) was a Greek philosopher from Rhodes who was also the head (scholarch) of the Peripatetic school. He is most famous for publishing a new edition of the works of Aristotle that forms the basis of the texts that survive today.

==Life==
Little is known about his life. He is reported to have been the eleventh scholarch of the Peripatetic school.〔Ammonius, ''In de Int.'' 5.24〕 He taught in Rome, about 58 BC, and was the teacher of Boethus of Sidon, with whom Strabo studied.〔Strabo, xiv.; Ammonius, ''in Aristot. Categ.''.〕
